Do you own the domain names you sell?
Yes. All domain names offered for sale are owned by Domainy. We currently do not act as brokers or agents for third-party domain owners.
How can I purchase a domain name?
Our domains are purchased through reputable third-party domain marketplaces and escrow services, including Afternic/GoDaddy, Spaceship, and Sedo.
To purchase a domain we own, simply enter the domain name into your web browser and follow the instructions on its acquisition page.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We offer payment plans on selected domains, with available terms depending on the domain's price and other applicable conditions.
How do I receive my domain after purchase?
After you complete payment through the third-party marketplace or escrow service, the domain will be transferred to your account or designated registrar.
Your payment is securely processed through the platform, and Domainy receives the funds after the transaction has been successfully completed according to the platform's procedures.
Will I receive other domain extensions when I purchase a domain?
No. Your purchase includes only the specific domain name and extension listed in the offer.
For example, purchasing Example.com does not include Example.net, Example.org, or other extensions. If you wish to acquire additional extensions, they must be purchased separately, subject to availability.
How does Domainy protect my buying experience?
These platforms provide secure transaction processes and industry-standard security measures to help protect your information and facilitate the safe transfer of domain ownership.
Can I transfer my domain to a different registrar after purchase?
Yes. Once you have completed your purchase and the domain is eligible for transfer, you can move it to another registrar or hosting provider.
In general, a domain may be subject to a 60-day transfer restriction following initial registration or a previous registrar transfer, depending on applicable ICANN policies and registrar rules.
Please note: Domains purchased through a payment plan may not be eligible for transfer until all installments have been paid in full.
How long can I keep my domain?
Once you purchase a domain, you receive control and registration rights for the domain for the period covered by your registration.
Domains must be renewed periodically through your registrar. Renewal fees vary by registrar and domain extension and are typically paid annually.
As long as you continue to renew your domain before it expires and comply with applicable registration requirements, you can retain the domain indefinitely.
